Temporary Administrative Lawyer

We are looking for a temporary Administrative Lawyer for the property management department from June 2025 until January 15, 2026. You will belong to the property development unit within the property management department, which has been under its own committee, the Property Committee, since 2023. The department employs nearly 60 people. We work with the management and development of municipal properties and are responsible for Lidingö city's local supply. Most of our properties serve the city's operations such as schools, preschools, sports facilities, and housing for various life stages. We have an important function in promoting Lidingö city's physical planning and community building through our property holdings.

We also own condominiums and manage external rentals and leases for our operations. The rented apartments and premises play a role in the overall planning and management of the city's property holdings.

The unit consists of seven employees, including the department's lawyer, property strategists, and contract managers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a temporary Administrative Lawyer, you will work within our property development unit. The unit is responsible for the overall local supply, which includes both internal rentals to the city's own operations and external agreements in the form of lease agreements, leasehold agreements, and land leases.

As an administrative lawyer, you will, among other things:

• Provide advice and support to the administration on legal issues
• Be responsible for the interpretation and drafting of agreements, especially lease agreements and leasehold agreements, and review and prepare other legal documents handled continuously within the administration.
• Ensure that matters submitted to the committee are legally quality assured
• Develop and implement legal policy documents needed for the operation
• Represent the committee in lease negotiations, legal disputes, and court proceedings

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• Law degree
• Several years of experience in legal work within the real estate industry
• Good knowledge of property law with a focus on tenancy law
• Preferably good knowledge of administrative law, public access and secrecy, municipal law, tort law, procurement, and contract law
